Dear Friends,
Making a list of goals is relatively easy. There are so many things “one” should do/accomplish/learn/attain in life! But each and every goal we choose to focus on - if we really take it and ourselves seriously - has consequences that impact the different aspects of our lives. It influences the way we allocate our financial resources, how we plan our time, and with whom.
That’s why consciously choosing to say “yes” to a specific goal also means a conscious decision to say “no” to certain other things in order to achieve that goal.
What are you saying “yes” to right now in your life? And - because of this conscious decision - to what are you voluntarily saying “no”?

Dear Friends,
Writer, coach and personal growth teacher Tara Sophia Mohr compiled a list of ten rules for brilliant women that I’d like to share with you today. Because - from where I stand - these rules are pretty on-point for anyone on their journey towards personal brilliance; whether they are a woman or not!
- Make a pact!
- Imagine it!
- Suppress your inner critic!
- Get a thick skin!
- Be an arrogant idiot!
- Question the voice that says “I’m not ready yet”!
- Don’t wait for your Oscar!
- Filter advice!
- Recover and restore!
- Let other (wo)men know they are brilliant!
Have a look at Mohr’s complete article to find out why she suggests each of these rules. But before you do, I strongly suggest you let each rule resonate with you for a minute or two and - based on your professional experience - jot down a few lines about what it means to you personally!

When I had my threshold session with C., she considered her coach training and her teaching background as the perfect platform for giving back to her community.
In the urban neighborhood where she lived, she realized that many of the young people needed more hands-on support and mentoring in order to tap into positive goals for their lives, as well as to develop the skills and discipline they’d need to actually achieve those goals. C. had already invested time and thought into writing a booklet of advice for young women and was gathering material for a follow-up.
In the meantime, though, C. married and become the mother of a young child. While continuing to strive to fulfill her own professional purpose, she also needed to find a way to supplement the family income while also securing the necessary care of her son during her absence.

Dear Friends,
“…The pressures on you to perform well are sometimes hard to shoulder. You find yourself unable to truly relished or enjoy job-related success. Instead - before you can wipe the proverbial sweat from your brow after successfully completing one project - the pressure is on to prove yourself again in the execution of the next…”

Dear Friends,
Both as a leadership coach and presentations skills trainer, this presentation was a pleasure to watch! Adapted from Dan Pink’s book, Drive, it shows you why money is no longer the key motivator in the workplace, and why paying some employees more can even lead to decreased productivity.
So, when does money still serve as a motivational factor and what can be done to motivate people once monetary rewards reach the tipping point?
In other words: How can you successfully bolster and maintain employee engagement in the workplace of the 21st century?
Watch. Learn. Enjoy.
